July 4th Local Festivities
The 4th of July holiday is upon us again! This is a United States federal holiday to commemorate the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain. Many people celebrate the 4th enjoying outdoor activities with family and friends. Fireworks are always a crowd favorite, as well as parades, cook-outs, picnics and neighborhood gatherings.
